Voyageur Volleyball Postseason

Minnesota North College - Rainy River will be competing in the Region 13B Tournament Friday, October 31- Saturday, November 1. The Voyageurs enter the tourney as the number three seed with a strong 8-4 record for the conference.

"Our program is excited to represent both Minnesota North College and the MCAC North Division at the Region 13B Tournament this upcoming weekend." Coach Shelby Nosan commented. "We have an exceptional group of talented athletes in our program that have worked hard this season. We have had both numerous MCAC player of the week honors as well as statistical leaders in a variety of categories. Our team had held the number two position in the conference for the majority of the season up until last week when we faced a couple late conference losses which secured the number three position for us going into the playoffs."

Our team has had a lot of fun both on and off the court with a variety of experiences for our athletes. Our ladies are very excited to perform this weekend and elevate our play. We are especially looking forward to having fun in the process and playing together as a team. Our season has had many highlights and we hope to build on those throughout the week to help prepare us for the next challenge ahead of us.

A big shoutout to the rest of the teams that are advancing their seasons as well, and a special one to fellow Minnesota North Mesabi Range on their advancement as well. Good luck to everyone in the post season!"
