Destiny Piekarski named Offensive Player of the Week

Destiny Piekarski, middle blocker for Minnesota North College - Rainy River, earned the MCAC North Division Offensive Athlete of the Week award. Piekarski had 37 kills in her 12 sets played, averaging 3.08 kills per set. She hit .309 and served three aces to lead her team into the NJCAA North Plains District 13B Tournament.

Piekarski is a local from Littlefork, Minnesota and also plays basketball.
